GRAPHIC DESIGN II
This course is a continuation of the basic foundations taught in Graphic Design I. Emphasis will be placed on the creation of advertising designs and creatively conveying ideas visually, utilizing graphic design, typography, and illustration. Students must think clearly through the relationship between artist and consumer in developing artwork designed to relay a message in an artistically enticing yet efficient format. Designing work on the computer as well as by hand will also be introduced. Students use a variety of sharp tools requiring fine motor skills, as well as significant use of digital illustration software.
